Privacy Policy

Overview

Credify ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at credify.work. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. We take privacy seriously and have designed our tools to minimize data collection wherever possible.

Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Content you submit for analysis. Text, URLs, or uploaded files (PDF, DOCX, TXT) are sent to our backend for processing. This content is analysed in real-time and is not stored after your session ends.
• Usage statistics. We count the total number of analyses performed (e.g. "10,000 analyses completed") as an aggregate number. No individual sessions are linked to this count.
• Feedback ratings. If you submit a star rating after an analysis, we store the rating value only (1–5 stars). No identifying information is attached.
• Email address (optional). If you join the Pro waitlist, your email is collected via Formspree and used only to notify you when Pro launches. You can opt out at any time by contacting us.
• Server logs. Our backend (hosted on Render) records your IP address temporarily for rate-limiting purposes (20 requests per IP per minute) and error tracking. Logs are not stored beyond 30 days.

How We Use Your Content

Content you submit (text, URLs, or files) is processed by our AI systems solely to generate your analysis results. We do not store, log, or use your submitted content for any purpose beyond returning your results.

We do not use your content to train AI models. We do not sell or share your content with any third party beyond what is strictly necessary to operate the service.

Cookies and Analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (page views, referrers, device types). This does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. No third-party advertising cookies are used on this site.

Third-Party Services

Credify uses third-party infrastructure providers for hosting, analytics, and email collection (Pro waitlist). Each provider processes only the data necessary for their specific function. We do not share your submitted content with any advertising or data-brokering services.

Data Retention

We do not maintain a database of user content or sessions. All analysis is stateless — once your results are returned, no copy of your submitted content is retained by Credify. Temporary server logs used for rate-limiting and error monitoring are cleared on a rolling basis and not linked to individual users. Waitlist emails are retained only until Pro launches, after which you can request deletion at any time.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including GDPR in the EU and UK, and CCPA in California), you may have the right to:

• Request information about what data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of marketing communications
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Because we do not store personal data beyond IP addresses in temporary server logs, most requests can be fulfilled by simply not using the service. For waitlist email removal or any other data request, contact us at hello@credify.work.

Children's Privacy

Credify is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through our service, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of Credify after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
